About Us:
Exploration Kids Therapy has joined forces with Swann Clinic for Behavioral Health and Pediatric Psychology Services of Colorado to provide much needed services even farther across the western slope of Colorado! We are a multidisciplinary clinic specializing in neurodivergent pediatrics and have established clinics in Glenwood Springs, Rifle, Montrose, Delta, Gunnison, Clifton, and Grand Junction, Colorado.

This position is offered through Exploration Kids Therapy in Rifle, a specialty therapy organization. Your caseload will include direct therapy for children referred by our community partners, such as pediatricians and other support organizations.
Occupational Therapist (OT/R) Role:
We are seeking a passionate, neurodiversity-affirming Occupational Therapist to provide evidence-based therapy to children with diverse needs. You will have the opportunity to:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services in-clinic and via telehealth.
- Work with neurodivergent clients, including those with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, and other conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on sensory regulation, fine and gross motor skills, self-care, and self-regulation.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists to provide integrated care.
- Engage with families to support skill development beyond therapy sessions.
- Access a wealth of resources, including therapy equipment, sensory tools, and clinical support.

Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program or active COTA license.
- NBCOT Certification and Colorado state licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with neurodivergent clients (ASD, ADHD, Developmental Delays, etc.) preferred, but new graduates with a strong passion for neurodiversity-affirming care are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of sensory processing, self-regulation, and fine/gross motor development.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills—teamwork is highly valued.
- Passion for neurodiversity-affirming care and child-led interventions.
