Our Values

Our values are tied to the assent based and trauma informed care we provide. We believe that disabled and neurodiverse children flourish in accepting environments where they are not asked to be anything but themselves. This also applies to our team. We work hard to develop trainings and learning strategies to help you deliver amazing care to vulnerable populations while learning skills for a future career. This is not just a job. If you want a career in a mental health or healthcare related field, we will help you achieve this. We want to see our team and our learners grown and achieve great things. This means we honor your neurodiversity, diverse background, and culture, just as we do with our learners. However we can adapt the skills to best suit your style, we will make that effort.

Our Team

Our team is a diverse mix of professional in early, middle, and late career development. We are accepting, affirming professionals who want to train and teach others how to support our most vulnerable populations and give them all the tools for success. Our team engages in activities outside the clinic, support each other inside the clinic, and are simply thoughtful in each and every way. Our own internal audits of satisfaction within our organization show our team feels incredibly supported, uplifted, and connected to each other. And that, as a human being, makes me feel incredibly proud. In fact, one person said, "Even if I go home at the end of the day exhausted, I leave with a smile." There is so much satisfaction being in a group of people dedicated to the same goals and who treat each other with absolute respect.

Our Culture

Again, ours is a culture of respect, transparency, and professionalism. We expect all employees to come to this health care environment with the goal to learn, grow, and support others. This shows in how we conduct ourselves with each other, and our learners. Praise and feedback are frequent in our environment. Support is just an ask away or offered without even asking. Our leadership, BCBAs, RBTs, coordinators, and BTs are all individuals of integrity, and they radiate that in our everyday work.

Why join us?

MULTIDISCIPLINARY BEHAVIORAL THERAPY CLINIC

Swann Clinic for Behavioral Health is a multidisciplinary clinic for children with various ability levels. This means we deliver applied behavioral analysis therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and individual mental health counseling to neurodiverse children ages 1-7. Neurodiversity includes diagnoses such as global developmental delays, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and learning disorders. Ours is a trauma informed model with assent based practices. This means, we respect the boundaries and feelings of our learners, honor their ability to say no or not engage, allow them to fully be themselves, and only teach skills their parents agree to that honor their uniqueness. Our learners grow through play-based interventions, which helps them develop valuable skills they can use later in school and life. Our learners engage in crafts, circle time, quiet time, group lunches, music and movement, and other special activities together.

Swann Clinic is a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE). This means we meets the highest standards of care in the nation. We are a neurodiverse and female-owned business focusing on empowerment of our team and learners. Our environment and team are wonderful, and this is truly an amazing place to grow in your career with other professionals. We have professional organizations within our clinics, such as diversity, equity, and inclusion and ethics committees. We have bi-weekly trainings to better hone our skills and teach our team valuable lessons about ABA and other disciplines.

Our clinic is open 8-4, Monday through Friday. No weekends are required. Work outside of work hours is highly discouraged. We have the week of the 4th of July and Christmas off.
